Halloween Team Challenge
Have some fun this Halloween with a class group challenge. See who will be the first to solve all 6 problems. This could be used with Escape the Room, or Breakout style lessons. This resource is differentiated for easy, medium and harder levels of challenges for each stage. As each team works out a problem, they receive a part of the puzzle, or can have their progress marked off on the score sheet provided. If you wanted to add a bonus challenge at the end, offer the groups the puzzle as a seventh activity.
For durability, print the puzzle on cardstock and laminate.

About this resource
This collection of cross themed units will be an asset to any primary teacher’s toolkit. Activities embrace Blooms taxonomy with a variety of activities and learning styles in order to suit the needs of the children in your care.
These can be used by Supply Relief Teachers to supplement activities at a short notice if needed. Children can select a task or task that resonates with them to complete and share with their classmates.
Black line masters are provided for supplementary tasks if you need them.
For a longer block of time, you may like to encourage your students to choose more than one activity, use in personal journals, golden hour or as homework extension tasks.
Minimum materials are required to implement these activities, and technology is included as an option in some activities.

A fantastic story with a link to a narration by the author. A wonderful tale that explores the themes of pollution on the environment, recycling, and of course frogs. There are resources linked to all of these ideas within the booklet. Your students may enjoy a research project using a Webquest, or investigate how far a 'cottonball frog' can jump. This 30 page booklet comes with a 7 page booklet of behaviour management strategies. The theme for the term 2 booklets is "Under the Sea". The focus books in this booklet are "Tiddler the Story Telling Fish" by Julia Donaldson, and "There's a Sea in my Bedroom" by Margaret Wild.
